About Me
I am a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) professional driven by one core question: how can data be used better to improve real outcomes for people? My work sits at the intersection of MEAL, GIS, research, and data analytics, supporting humanitarian and development programmes to move beyond data collection toward meaningful learning and informed decision-making.
I design and strengthen MEAL systems, improve data quality, and make sense of complex datasets so that evidence is not only produced, but actually used. I am particularly interested in how data is generated, interpreted, and communicated, and in closing the gap between technical analysis and practical action.
My work spans WASH, health, climate resilience, gender, and social vulnerability. I am committed to representing community experiences with respect, accuracy, and care. A key part of my approach is data storytelling using maps, dashboards, and visual insights to communicate impact clearly and honestly, moving beyond traditional reports to reach decision-makers, practitioners, and communities alike. I believe good data should be understandable, credible, and useful.
My technical toolkit includes Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, SPSS, GIS, remote sensing, Kobo, CommCare, and mWater, which I use flexibly depending on context and purpose. I hold an MSc in Geographical Information Systems and a BSc in Water Resources Management and Development, and my research interests remain grounded in learning, accountability, and improving programme effectiveness on the ground.
